As Domestic Violence Awareness Month comes to a close, we're offering practical ways to support survivors and prevent abuse all year. If you know someone experiencing domestic violence, you can connect them to support from CAN Hope at 312-492-3194 (if they live on Chicago's West Side) or via the IL Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-877-863-6338 if they live anywhere else in Illinois.

No matter your age, it's hard to forget how special the holiday season feels when you're a kid. The holidays are an irreplaceable part of any childhood, so we want to ensure that our children get to make wonderful new memories with their families this winter, even after experiencing trauma or abuse. To do that, we need your help! We're aiming to collect 2,400 toys by December 4, so we can create an unforgettable holiday for over 800 families receiving care at ChicagoCAC.
