June is a time to celebrate the courage, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals while honoring the legacy of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, a pivotal moment in the movement for equality. Pride Month invites us to reflect on the progress made, recognize the work still ahead, and reaffirm that everyone deserves to live free from violence, discrimination, and fear.

As Mental Health Awareness Month has come to a close, the conversation doesn't end here. Healing takes time, and every step toward support, self-compassion, and connection matters. Having your boundaries respected and knowing you don't have to carry everything alone can make a meaningful difference.

As storms roll through life, survivors need more than hope. They need safety, support, and a community willing to stand beside them.
Join us on Saturday, August 15, 2026, for Pasta in the Park, TESSA’s signature fundraising event at the beautiful Myron Stratton Home Grounds. Enjoy pasta tastings, local beverages, live entertainment, auctions, and an unforgettable evening dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking find shelter from the storm.
This year's theme, Shelter from the Storm, reminds us healing begins when a community comes together. Every ticket purchased, every donation given, and every act of generosity helps provide life changing services for survivors and their children throughout our community.
Get your tickets today and help us be a Shelter from the Storm.

Healing after trauma is not something survivors should have to carry alone. Trauma-informed support can help create space for safety, emotional processing, and rebuilding trust in yourself and others. Being listened to instead of dismissed can be a powerful part of healing.

We're truly grateful for partnerships like this one. They help lift up the voices of survivors and make support more accessible across our community.
It means a lot to be teaming up with Next PR through their 2026 Conscious Capitalism program. This collaboration feels genuinely rooted in purpose, compassion, and real impact.
When companies decide to put their skills and platform behind causes that matter, the effects go far beyond one campaign. More people hear these important conversations, resources become easier to find, and survivors don’t feel so alone when they reach out for help.
Thank you to the entire Next PR team for believing in TESSA’s mission and for using your voice to help build greater awareness in our community.

When our thoughts start spiraling, writing them down can help create distance, clarity, and a sense of control. “Brain dump” and “pattern catch” techniques are often used in trauma-informed mental health care to help identify stress patterns, challenge overwhelm, and focus on what is manageable in the present moment.
