The House of Mercy after school program is open Tuesday and Thursdays 3:00-4:00PM for K-5 and 4:15-5:15 for Gr. 6-8

Thanks to our Mercy Associates, Mercy Terrace Apartments and all our on-line donors to our RAMADAN/EASTER Basket campaign. We were able to provide 15 Ramadan/Eid bags with nuts, sugar, candy, rice and dates, chicken and a food gift card for 15 families. Thanks to you our families were able to celebrate at the end of the Ramadan.

REMINDER: School will be in session on Friday, March 13, as a Snow Make-Up Day for Tuesday, January 27. Students should attend in person as usual.

🌅 Bonus for the East Coast: Just before sunrise, some areas may catch a rare Selenelion when the rising Sun and the eclipsed Moon appear above the horizon at the same time. It’s a brief and beautiful illusion caused by Earth’s atmosphere bending the light.

⏰ Check your local time zone for peak viewing in the early morning hours, and plan to be outside at least 15–20 minutes early so your eyes can adjust.

Dear friends
I am so happy to return full-time to serve at the House of Mercy Erie neighborhood outreach. Next year we will celebrate our 25th anniversary! It is the perfect time to expand!

We will start our after school programs next week and a new mothers meeting group.

We will be providing Ramadan food baskets.
Many of our families are struggling with food insecurity.
