SAVE THE DATE!! Come experience Long Island’s most unique America250 event! Step back in time to July 22, 1776 and relive the moment the Declaration of Independence arrived in Huntington!

Save the date! On Saturday, July 18, the Huntington Militia presents the 250th Anniversary Reenactment of Huntington Independence Day. On July 22, 1776, the Declaration of Independence arrived in Huntington. Come to the Arsenal and Huntington Green for a reenactment of events, musket and cannon firing demonstrations, and 18th century crafts, trades, cooking, toys, and music.
