Today we remember the bravery and sacrifice of the forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944, D‑Day. Their courage helped change the course of history. We honor them.

Today we had the opportunity to attend the Pace Center for Girls Jacksonville Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2026!

Congratulations to these incredible graduates on this major accomplishment and exciting next chapter. We are proud to celebrate a group of future leaders, and future voters who will help shape our community for years to come.

We have truly enjoyed connecting with the students at Pace throughout the year — from welcoming them to tour our Elections Center to recognizing their hard work as they earned the Freedom Award during our Countywide Student Voter Registration Competition.

If you recently relocated to Florida, don’t forget to cancel your prior voter registration. It isn’t done automatically. Contact the elections office in your previous state and request to cancel your voter registration. This helps keep voter records accurate and ensures no one can vote in your name in another state. If you need to register to vote in Duval County, visit duvalelections.gov to register.
