Our 2026 Party for the Parks honorees are bold, visionary, and represent the full breadth of what the park equity movement looks like — from the streets of Watts to the halls of City Hall, from community gardens in the Northeast San Fernando Valley to courtrooms where land deals get done. We are so excited to recognize them and say thank you💫

Climate action starts with you! 🌳

California Climate Action Corps is looking for individuals passionate about climate action and community service. Fellows serve for 11 months, helping build resilient communities through hands-on climate projects, such as urban greening, wildfire resiliency, and edible food recovery! ♻🍎🍊

In partnership with the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust, fellows will support our community gardens and the Fremont Garden Apprenticeship Program.

Info sessions begin this Wednesday, May 20th! Don’t miss it.

🗓 Applications open May 1. Fellows earn up to $45,550 in living stipends and money for school.

Over the years, our orgs have collaborated with LAUSD and Fremont High School to connect students and families with art and live performances, as well as resources for community empowerment, environmental justice, and mentoring/counseling.
