We LOVE the Marietta Fire Museum!

An 1879 engine, one of only a handful left anywhere, shares a working Georgia fire station with a modern truck on active calls.

Is it just us, or have the trees in our Marietta parks suddenly decided it’s time to show off? This week they’ve started donning their festive fall colors — and we are absolutely loving the pops of red, orange, and yellow throughout our community spaces.

Stop by your favorite park and soak in the seasonal magic!

What a busy weekend the had!

They kicked things off Friday night with the Maple Ave/Camp St neighborhood Sip & Stroll, led by our very own city arborist, Rich Deckman. Then it was straight into Saturday’s Hill Park maintenance day—thank you to everyone who came out to help keep our community green!

The 2nd Annual City of Marietta Employee Pumpkin Decorating Contest has officially become one of our favorite traditions!

Marietta Police Department took home the first‑place trophy and bragging rights for “Marietta’s Great Pumpkin”!

IT/GIS carved out a strong second‑place finish, and third place ended in a festive tie between Building Inspections and the Municipal Court Clerks Office.

Such a fun week celebrating creativity, teamwork, and a little friendly competition!
