Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, June 4 – Monday, June 8, the tennis courts at Tumlin Park, 400 Chestnut Hill Rd, will be closed for resurfacing. Should the weather behave correctly & allow the resurfacing to be completed sooner than anticipated, we will update on our social media accounts. In the meantime, you may continue perfecting your tennis game at Merritt Park or Lewis Park.

This program is designed for youth ages 9–16 to build basketball fundamentals and improve gameplay through skill training and scrimmages.

Join us as the 𝗔𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 launches the City of Marietta’s 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 with a special lunchtime concert on 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬–𝟭:𝟬𝟬𝗽𝗺 in 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 on the Marietta Square.

This talented ensemble of Atlanta musicians is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the music and stories of the Ragtime Era (1880–1920). Since their beginnings during the early months of the Covid‑19 lockdown, the group—now known as the Atlanta Ragtime Band—has performed more than 30 concerts across the region, honoring Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and Jazz Appreciation Month with music from under‑represented composers and early jazz favorites.

Their performances are as joyful for the audience as they are for the musicians, bringing the cheerful, playful spirit of Ragtime to life. So grab lunch from a local restaurant and enjoy an afternoon of patriotic music!
