Today, the New London Youth Affairs Division attended the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) award breakfast in Hartford, where we were honored to receive the Partners in Prevention Award for youth-focused prevention work.
This recognition highlights the impact of the Teen Dating Violence Prevention Project and the Threads of Hope fashion show completed in partnership with Safe Futures.
The project brought youth together through creativity, education, and leadership to raise awareness about Teen Dating Violence and Domestic Violence, while promoting healthy relationships and positive support systems.
We are incredibly proud of our Youth Affairs team, community partners, and especially the youth participants whose courage, creativity, and leadership made this recognition possible.
