As part of our 2026 Wellness Theme Series (Theme 4: Nutrition & Healthy Eating), our on-site registered nutritionist, Aimee Yan, led an engaging session on senior nutrition and healthy aging. She shared practical tips about balanced meals, hydration, and nutrient-rich foods to support energy, strength, and overall wellbeing. Residents actively participated with thoughtful questions, and our Wellness Director, Nancy Lu, emphasized the importance of nutrition in supporting independence and quality of life.

Village Caring Friends Groups discussed the recent hantavirus outbreak reported on a cruise ship and the importance of staying informed, calm, and supportive of one another. At 91 years old Ms. Ming Fong Kyu, shared that her secret to longevity is staying happy, making friends, participating in Village activities, continuing to learn, and walking regularly. She also expressed gratitude for the compassionate care and support she receives from the Wellness Director and through our wellness programs and community activities. We are grateful to have such inspiring residents in our Village community!
