Payton has grown so much over the past couple of months. He's listened, asked questions, and did the work. Dedication, persistence, and focus.- that's why Payton is our April Employee of the Month. Keep growing!

🏆🏆🏆 So much to celebrate! We've had some big wins this semester. Our Club reached 7 weeks of students meeting their goals in reading and math and that's huge news! 🤯🤯 more practice means better outcomes of success. Our students are our future leaders and will continue to flourish. Club celebration and a goal party ✅️

Shout out to Ms. Bre and Mr. Jay for leading our students, encouraging them, and showing up for our kiddos.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Teen Late Night Pajama Jam was a blast! 36 students attended and enjoyed open gym, cookie decorating, a chocolate fountain, cotton candy, music, a pj contest, Cane's and more!!! 🥳🥳🥳 It was a can't miss event and we certainly didn't miss with the nonstop fun!

Each week brings a brand‑new theme filled with outdoor excitement, creative challenges and hands‑on fun that keeps campers engaged from start to finish. Kids spend their days canoeing, swimming, fishing, trying archery, riding pontoon boats, racing down epic slip‑and‑slides, jumping in bounce houses, heading out on field trips and tackling exciting group activities.

Whether campers join for one week or all seven, Camp Nakomis offers a safe, supportive environment where friendships grow, confidence builds and unforgettable summer memories are made.🌟

On Friday, we treated our teens to Longhorn Steakhouse. Staff spoke to them about their dreams, future plans, etiquette, and really got to know our students better. Aubriella tried salmon for the first time and loved it. LaNae knew some table manners expectations that even the staff didn't know. All in all, we bonded, learned about each other, and had new exciting experiences. On top of that, the service was excellent! We're already excited to do this again.
