Pennsylvania American Water advised us this morning that Park Boulevard, Greenmount, and a section of Raleigh will be closed today to replace valves. The crew will have flaggers in place to direct traffic and intend to begin work after school traffic has died down.

Please remain alert in the area.

Pittsburgh Regional Transit will host a virtual public meeting later this month to share updates and gather feedback on planned improvements to Dormont Junction stations.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 28 at 7 p.m.

At Dormont Junction, the project will focus on improving pedestrian access and circulation around the station, while also upgrading platforms, canopies, visibility, and overall accessibility to create a safer, more comfortable environment for riders. PRT and the Borough of Dormont are also undertaking a separate effort to look at potential transit-oriented development (TOD) on the Dormont Park and Ride site; note that this is separate from the Station Improvement Project and will not be a core focus of this meeting.

For more information on that project and to sign up for the public meeting, please visit engage.rideprt.org/dormont.
