The mission of the Dutchess County Interfaith Council is to promote understanding and respectful rela THE DUTCHESS COUNTY INTERFAITH COUNCIL INC.

IS MADE UP OF MEMBER CONGREGATIONS FROM THROUGHOUT DUTCHESS COUNTY TOWNS AND VILLAGES. ATH THIS TIME WE COUNT JUST OVER 100 MEMBERS. OUR MEMBERS INCLUDE CHRISTIAN, JEWISH, MUSLIM, HINDU, BAHAI AND BUDDHIST FAITH COMMUNITIES. WE ARE GOVERNED BY A BOARD OF 15 DIRECTORS REPRESENTING MOST OF THOSE COMMUNITIES AT THIS TIME. DIRECTORS OF THE BOARD SERVE FOR A MAXIMUM OF 6 YEARS.

On Monday, February 23, 6PM-8PM, you are invited to join us for a powerful and timely Know Your Rights: & Best Practices When Encountering ICE and Law Enforcement gathering of clergy and community leaders, along with African American and Black immigrants from the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa. Together, we will host an evening of education, empowerment, and support focused on Black Immigration Reform and Economic Justice for All American Families.

Our featured trainer, Ravidath “Ravi” Ragbir, a Trinidadian-American immigrant rights activist who fought deportation for nearly 20 years, will provide critical insights, practical guidance, and firsthand experience in navigating immigration challenges and organizing for justice.
