DSA has updated IR A‑14. Key changes include larger allowable outdoor “black box” units (up to 500 sq ft), new design clarifications, requirements for units to be designed as new buildings, and added fire‑sprinkler support info. Now available here: https://dgs.ca.gov/dsa/publications

DSA has issued Policy (PL) 26‑01 and the new form DSA 1‑AMM‑810: Request for Alternate Materials and Methods for Fire Service Features. Both PL 26‑01 and the DSA 1‑AMM‑810 take effect July 1, 2026 and are found on the DSA Forms and Publication Page here: https://dgs.ca.gov/DSA
