We’re happy to share an upcoming event from our community partner Guitars and Ukes in the Classroom. Join an afternoon of music, storytelling, and art at Sparks Gallery featuring internationally renowned harp guitarist Muriel Anderson, all in support of bringing music into classrooms.
Next Sunday, March 15 at Sparks Gallery in the SD Gaslamp, please join us for the new art exhibitions and an afternoon benefit concert with international phenom, Muriel Anderson! Experience Muriel's exquisite harp guitar artistry and delightful storytelling from her adventures around the world. Seating is limited, so please register early to save your place. This intimate event gives the San Diego GITC community and local art lovers a rare chance to experience her musical magic, and support our charitable work. Hope to see you there!

Thank you to Cal Coast Credit Union and the Women of the Workforce (WOW) Employee Resource Group for inviting the San Diego Women’s Foundation to join your International Women’s Day luncheon.
We’re especially grateful to our board member, Kelsey Wadman, for sharing her personal journey in philanthropy. Kelsey began her career in grant writing at the Center for Community Solutions and now serves as Director of Foundation and Government Relations at Outdoor Outreach.
She spoke about the determination it took to reach her goals—interviewing with Outdoor Outreach three times before landing her current role and how being part of SDWF helped build her confidence and grow as a leader.
