On Saturday, Charity Cultural Services Center attended the Wu Yee Children’s Day Event at Alice Pritchard at SECC on Evans Avenue. It was wonderful to see so many families come together to enjoy a day filled with fun, music, food, face painting, a juggling show and other activities. Families could also receive dental checkups for their children, connect with valuable community resources and learn about summer camp programs. We were glad to be part of such a vibrant event and to see so many District 10 families come out to celebrate the start of summer together.

In 2007, Derrick Li arrived in San Francisco as an immigrant looking for opportunity. After struggling to find work as a graphic designer, he enrolled in Charity Cultural Services Center's Bartending & Barista Training program despite having no experience in the industry.

Today, Derrick owns two successful San Francisco bars and has earned national recognition as a competitive bartender. His journey shows how our job training can create new opportunities, build careers and help people achieve goals they never imagined.

When you sponsor CCSC's Annual Gala, purchase a ticket or donate an auction item, you help make stories like Derrick's possible. Your support helps provide training, mentorship and career pathways for individuals working toward a better future.

Join us on September 18 and invest in the success of the next generation of CCSC students.
