Gulfview Heights Primary School Gulfview Heights Primary School is a very close-knit local community based school, catering for approximately 390 Reception to Year 6 students.

Often described as a ‘country school’ in a metropolitan area, the school is located 20km North of Adelaide on the hills face that separates the Northern and North Eastern suburbs. Nestled amongst an Australian native backdrop, the school boasts one of the most beautiful and tranquil school environments. Gulfview Heights Primary is a public school in the Northern Adelaide Region and is a member of the Salisbury Partnership of schools. Built in 1976, the school has a proud history characterised by high levels of student participation and academic excellence, parental involvement, as well as providing a range of extra-curricular activities in the areas of Performing Arts, Physical Education and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Our vision is built around providing a safe and supportive learning environment, and enhancing a student’s capacity to learn and achieve their personal best. We offer a range of specialist programs and extra-curricular activities which stimulate students’ intellectual, physical, moral, social and creative capabilities. Upon the completion of a $1 000 000 STEM redevelopment in 2018, the school became a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics focus primary school to promote an interdisciplinary approach to learning across these areas. Through their engagement in STEM learning, students are able to secure their place as innovators, entrepreneurs, leaders and shapers of an adaptable knowledge-based economy and society. Parents and carers play an integral role in their child’s education and this home-school partnership is central to us realising our vision. We are extremely proud of our school and invite you to explore our page further to learn more about what our school has to offer.

💙 Bullying No Way: National Week of Action - Day 5 💙

Today's focus is "Together we can stop bullying - a whole of community approach."

Creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment is everyone's responsibility. When students, families, staff and the wider community work together, we send a powerful message that bullying has no place at GHPS.

By showing kindness, supporting one another, speaking up when something isn't right and fostering positive relationships, we can help ensure that everyone feels safe, valued and that they belong.

This week, our students have explored how small actions can make a big difference. Today's message reminds us that lasting change happens when we come together as a community.

Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can stop bullying.

💙 Bullying No Way: National Week of Action - Day 4 💙

Today's focus is "Pause before you speak, text or communicate online."

Our words matter. Before we speak, send a message, post online, or leave a comment, it's important to pause and think about how our words might make someone else feel.

Taking a moment to reflect can help us choose words that are respectful, kind and supportive. Whether we're communicating face-to-face or online, we all play a part in creating positive and safe environments for others.

At GHPS, we're encouraging students to stop, think and choose kindness in all their interactions.

💙 Bullying No Way: National Week of Action - Day 3 💙

Today's focus is "You have the power to make things better."

Every one of us has the power to make a positive difference. Whether it's standing up for someone, including a classmate, offering a kind word, or asking for help when someone needs support, our actions can help create a safer and more caring community.

At GHPS, we're encouraging students to recognise that they have the ability to influence the world around them in a positive way. Small choices can lead to big changes.

Together, we can make things better for everyone.

💙 Bullying No Way: National Week of Action - Day 2 💙

Today’s focus is "Kindness creates impact, even in the tiny moments."

A smile, a kind word, inviting someone to join in, or simply checking in on a friend may seem like small actions, but they can make a big difference in someone's day. Every act of kindness helps build a school community where everyone feels valued, respected and included.

At GHPS, we're encouraging our students to look for opportunities to spread kindness and make a positive impact, no matter how small.

Together, we can make kindness contagious!

Bullying. No Way! Day 1 at GHPS

Today at Gulfview Heights Primary School, we kicked off “Bullying. No Way!” with a focus on how small acts matter. Our students learned that words and actions, no matter how small, can make a big difference. By choosing kindness and respect every day, we all help make our school a safer and more welcoming place.

Let’s keep working together to show that Bullying. No Way!

💙 Next week is Bullying No Way: National Week of Action (17-21 August 2026).

At GHPS, we believe that small acts can have a big impact and that bullying has no place in our school community. Together, we can create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels valued, respected and a true sense of belonging.

Throughout the week, our students will participate in daily activities and discussions focused on kindness, respect, inclusion and the positive difference we can all make through our words and actions.

💗 We'd love our families to join us! Show your support by leaving a love heart reaction on this post. Let's fill our hearts with positivity and remind our students that kindness matters.

Together, we can make a difference.
