This is the official page of the Jamaica Constabulary Force The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is the police force for the Island of Jamaica.

We are the primary law enforcement agency in the island with over 12000 active members of the Police Force. The current Commissioner of Police is Major General Antony Anderson.

Effective communication is essential to modern policing. As a result, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is expanding its communication capacity. To support this thrust, Senior Superintendent of Police Dahlia Garrick led the Constabulary Communications Network (CCN) in hosting a Mobile Videography and Photography Workshop earlier today.

Forty participants drawn from the JCF’s Social Media Team, the Community Safety and Security Branch (CSSB), the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB), and Areas 4 and 5 gathered at the Office of the Commissioner of Police in Kingston for the training session.

The training forms part of a broader strategic initiative to bolster the Force’s communication capabilities by equipping more members with the skills needed to support content development, information sharing and digital storytelling across the island.

Senior Superintendent of Police Dennis Brooks facilitated the day’s session as a lecturer. On the other hand, Assistant Superintendent of Police Kayla K. Keane coordinated the training and the day’s proceedings.

As we continue to invest in our members, we are also investing in a more connected, visible and accessible police force.

Seventy-four-year-old Albert Sterling of Crane Way, Kingston 8, has been missing since Sunday, November 1.

He is of dark complexion, slim build, and is about 182 centimetres (6 feet) tall.

Reports from the Constant Spring Police indicate that at about 5:00 a.m., Sterling was last seen at home. His mode of dress at the time he went missing is unknown. All efforts to locate him have proven futile.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Albert Sterling is asked to contact the Constant Spring Police at 876-924-1421, the police emergency number 119, or the nearest police station.

Letitia Douglas who was found wandering in Spanish Town , St Catherine on Monday, November 02 has been reuinited with her family.

She is said to be in good health.

The engagement offered valuable insights into her professional journey while bridging theory and practice. This reinforced the critical role of forensic expertise in advancing investigative capabilities.

In a strong demonstration of regional solidarity, cooperation and commitment to international security, a contingent of more than 80 members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Dr. Gary McKenzie and other senior officers, has been deployed to Antigua and Barbuda.

The contingent will support local law enforcement authorities in strengthening security arrangements ahead of the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), a significant gathering of world leaders.

This deployment represents more than a commitment to duty. It underscores Jamaica’s unwavering dedication to regional partnerships, collective security and the shared responsibility of safeguarding our Caribbean neighbours.

The Spanish Town Police are seeking the public's assistance in reuniting
an elderly woman with her family. She was found wandering in the Spanish Town area in St
Catherine on Monday, November 02 at about 7:30 p.m.

She gave her name as Letitia Douglas

Anyone with information that can assist the police in reuniting Letitia Douglas with her family is
asked to contact the Spanish Town Police Station at (876) 984-2305, the police emergency
number 119, or the nearest police station.
