From enduring years of difficult living conditions to finally having a safe place to call home, it’s a new beginning for Gillian Hartley and her son, Sebastian Marsh.
For Sebastian, who recalled nights spent battling leaking roofs, insects and the effects of an unhealthy living environment, the dream of a better home was one he prayed would become a reality.
Today, through the New Social Housing Programme (NSHP), those prayers have been answered with the handover of a new two-bedroom home, specially retrofitted to accommodate his needs.
