MTDC had the pleasure of visiting Xcel Itech Sdn Bhd, one of the innovative tenants at the UPM-MTDC Technology Centre.

Xcel Itech Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian technology company specialising in defence, security, education, and transportation solutions, leveraging its core expertise in ICT.

During the visit, MTDC was introduced to the company’s advanced technology solutions, including its train simulator system, which reflects Malaysia’s growing capabilities in high-technology innovation and digital simulation development.

MTDC is proud to support and nurture local technology companies such as Xcel Itech in driving innovation, strengthening industry capabilities, and expanding Malaysia’s technology ecosystem towards the global market.

R2G Central 2026 drew a strong turnout.

Thank you to all participants who made the time to be part of it.

Within MTDC Connect, discussions on funding pathways, market access and positioning gave companies better clarity.

MTDC SPHERE was also launched as part of the programme, extending MTDC’s support through a digital platform for technology companies.

What took place at R2G is part of a wider effort to connect technology companies to the right support and pathways to move forward beyond a single event.
