BRIGADA ESKWELA

Baybay City, Leyte - In support of the Department of Educationโ€™s Brigada Eskwela 2026, the personnel of Baybay City Fire Station, under the leadership of FSINSP BENITO GUNDELINO G ELONA, J.D., Acting City Fire Marshal, actively participated in various school preparedness activities throughout the week.

The team visited Baybay City Senior High School, Gabas Integrated School, Mapgap Integrated School, and Ciabu National High School, where they assisted in ensuring that the schools are safe and ready for the opening of classes. As part of their commitment to public safety, the deployed personnel also conducted Fire Safety Inspections to assess fire hazards, verify the functionality of fire safety measures, and promote a safer learning environment for students, teachers, and staff.

The Baybay City Fire Station remains steadfast in its mission of safeguarding lives and properties through proactive fire prevention efforts and community engagement.

Baybay City, Leyte - June 03, 2026 - FSINSP BENITO GUNDELINO G ELONA, J.D., Acting City Fire Marshal of Baybay City Fire Station, attended the 3rd Division Management Committee (MANCOM) Meeting in preparation for Oplan Balik Eskwela 2026, held today, June 3, 2026, at Cayunda Function Hall.

The meeting gathered representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd) and various partner government agencies to discuss plans, strategies, and collaborative efforts aimed at ensuring a safe, orderly, and successful opening of classes for School Year 2026โ€“2027.

Baybay City Fire Station reaffirms its commitment to supporting DepEd and all stakeholders by promoting fire safety, emergency preparedness, and public safety measures in schools and communities as learners return to their respective educational institutions.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 KICK-OFF ACTIVITY

Baybay City, Leyte - June 02, 2026 - The Baybay City Fire Station, headed by FSINSP BENITO GUNDELINO G ELONA, J.D., Acting City Fire Marshal, actively participated in the Opening Program of Brigada Eskwela 2026 held at Kabunga-an Integrated School, Brgy. Kabunga-an, Baybay City, Leyte.

As part of its commitment to ensuring a safe learning environment for students, teachers, and school personnel, the Baybay City Fire Station also conducted a Fire Safety Inspection of the school facilities to identify potential fire hazards and promote fire prevention awareness.
