The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) MIMAROPA, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro, conducts Orientation for beneficiaries of the Government Internship Program - Zero Illiteracy and Innumeracy Program (GIP-ZIIP) at Tamaraw Hall, Capitol Complex, Calapan City.

The program brings together Indigenous Peoples (IPs) from various municipalities in Oriental Mindoro who will serve as community-based educators.

Through their internship, they will help fellow IPs learn basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills.

As part of the activity, the beneficiaries will also sign their internship agreements to formalize their commitment in the program.
