Can you catch the right items?🧐
A good rule of thumb is to donate items you’d be happy to receive! Donate via a food charity near you - visit FoodConnect Directory for the list: https://foodconnect.gov.sg/directory/
Still not sure what to donate? Keep these in mind:
🍎Nutrition: Choose items with the Healthier Choice logo.
🛒Convenience: Smaller packs (like 1kg rice) are easier to manage for smaller households
✅Food Safety: Ensure packaging is intact and expiry is 3+ months away.

After 10 years out of the workforce, returning to work felt nearly impossible for Mdm Rahayu – but this determined mother wasn’t giving up on her family.
Through MSF Singapore ComLink+ programme, she was connected her to TOUCH Community Services Project 1,2,3!, where a job coach helped her identify her strengths, refine her resume, and rebuild her confidence. Within two months, she found part-time work – and she has since landed a full-time job and secured a BTO flat.
Throughout this journey, ComLink+ family coach Esther walked alongside Mdm Rahayu, working with her to overcome challenges and encouraging her every step of the way.
Mdm Rahayu’s story is one of many examples of how MSF and community partners are joining hands to give families the support they need to thrive. Better Starts With Us💪

[POFMA Order issued to Han Hui Hui]
Families are often the best source of care, stability, and support for children. However, when concerns arise over a child’s safety, MSF carefully assesses the situation and intervenes where necessary, with the goal of keeping the child within the family when it is safe to do so.
Removing a child from their parent or guardian is a measure of last resort, when there are immediate safety concerns or the home environment is assessed as unsafe for the child. In such cases, efforts are focused on addressing the underlying safety concerns with the goal of eventually reuniting the child with their family. As children are inherently vulnerable, ensuring their safety is our collective responsibility.
Mdm Han published a livestream on Facebook on 11 March 2026, which was subsequently posted on Facebook and YouTube. These posts contain the following false claims:
i. The removal of her children from her care was not done in accordance with the law.
ii. MSF takes away children from families despite knowing that there is no abuse, so as to be able to show a high reconciliation rate.
iii. She did not sign any agreement with MSF regarding the placement of her children in protective care.
iv. MSF is seeking to withhold the truth about the children’s physical condition by telling her not to film or photograph the children.
v. MSF has threatened to deny her access to her children unless she deletes her social media posts that are not aligned with existing government policies.
vi. MSF is seeking to permanently deprive her of access to her children.
vii. The Police have not concluded investigations that commenced in August 2025.
MSF has instructed the POFMA Office to issue Correction Directions to Mdm Han to clarify the facts:
• The children were removed following proper legal procedures after multiple police reports around safety concerns.
• Mdm Han and her husband signed a Voluntary Care Agreement for the temporary placement of her children in protective care.
• MSF did not prevent Mdm Han from filming her children to withhold the truth about their physical condition. Legal restrictions on filming children involved in investigations exist to protect their identity and welfare.
• MSF has never threatened to deny Mdm Han access to her children unless she deleted her social media posts that are not aligned with government policies.
• MSF has worked with Mdm Han and her husband to put in place additional safeguards and returned the children to Mdm Han's care on 16 March 2026.
• Police investigations into reports lodged by Mdm Han and her husband between August and December 2025 have concluded.
