NCPG is part of Singapore’s national framework to address problem gambling.

The NCPG is a council comprising 17 members with expertise in psychiatry and psychology, social services, counselling, legal and rehabilitative services. The Council’s first two-year term began on 31 August 2005, and it is now in its ninth term. The Council’s main roles are:
