🎉 Real life math in action! 🎉 8th graders at EV Cain learned about accident investigation and calculated speed based on skid marks. While no one was hurt during the simulation (don’t worry!) the learning had a huge impact on kids (get it?!?) 😂. Kids worked in teams to compare their findings to the provided statements. As one 8th grader put it, “There is no way he was going 10 mph! That guy is a liar!” 😬 Thank you Deputy Bilodeau and Al Frangione of for providing our kids with a meaningful, hands on experience! 🚗

The annual Auburn Elementary Fiesta was, once again, a huge success! This year, AUSD added a resource fair open to the Auburn community. With summer coming, it was a great place to learn about fun options for kids. There were books, face painting, bunnies, and papusas! 🎨 🐰 Thank you to all of our community partners for sharing the supports you offer for kids and families! We’re all better when we work together. 👏

A huge thank you to the Parent Teacher Club for organizing the fiesta and to our Health Services team for all their work on the resource fair!

Skyridge can’t stop buzzing about their “What Bugs You?” assembly with ! 🦟 Thank you to Placer Mosquito & Vector Control District for teaching our kids about pest prevention and taking students on an un-bee-lievable adventure in learning (wrong insect, we know, we’re just suckers for a pun 😉).

2025-2026 Enrollment for New Students - Now Open

The enrollment window for the 2025-2026 school year is now open for new students.
If you have a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade child that is not yet enrolled in AUSD, now is the time to enroll.
*Current AUSD students do not need to re-enroll.

AUSD Food Allergy Form
Dear AUSD Parents,
We have many children with food allergies and want to ensure their safety while attending school. If your child has a food allergy, please either download the attached form or see the front office or health clerk at your school site to obtain the allergy form, which requires a physician’s signature. This helps to guide the staff on how to properly protect your student from injury or illness related to food allergens. We are legally required to have this document in our system before providing any accommodations.
If your child had a food allergy form on file last school year but no longer requires accommodations, please submit a parent note stating the change.

Aeries Data Confirmation
Dear AUSD Families,

Data confirmation should now be working. Log in to the Parent Portal here, or from the district website. If you continue to have any issue with resetting forgotten passwords Aeries communicated the following as a solution:

If parents continue to have issues, please have them try to clear their browser cache on the device they are using and try to reset their password again.

The process for clearing your cache will vary by browser type. While we hope you will not run into difficulty, if you do, it is recommended you do an internet search to determine the cache clearing process for your specific browser.

Aeries Network Down
Dear AUSD Families,

Aeries is experiencing system-wide difficulties. This means that you will not be able to access the Aeries Parent Portal to complete your data confirmation. Aeries indicates they are working on this at present. We will send additional communication when the error has been rectified. The Aeries issue is also preventing us from sending district-wide email therefore this is being posted online. Please feel free to share this message with other school families.
