Every day, people across our community choose to show up for one another.
They show up by giving.
They show up by volunteering.
They show up by advocating for neighbors in need.
Because of that, children receive books, families find support, seniors receive meals, and lives are changed right here in Cullman & Winston Counties.
At United Way, we know real change happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose. Thank you to every donor, volunteer, partner agency, and supporter who continues to show up and make a difference.
Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more connected community.

Advocation for Transportation🚗
One of the most common calls we receive at United Way of Cullman County is:
"Do you know of anyone who can help me get somewhere?"
Whether it's a doctor's appointment, work, the grocery store, the pharmacy, or simply running errands, reliable transportation can be the difference between accessing services and going without.
Many people assume transportation services are only available for seniors or individuals with disabilities, but that's not always the case.
We encourage residents to explore local transportation resources like CARTS - Cullman Area Rural Transit System and Checklist Concierge Service, LLC
CARTS provides transportation throughout Cullman County for medical appointments, work, shopping, and other daily needs, helping hundreds of residents stay connected to essential services each day.
Checklist Concierge Service offers personalized transportation coordination and concierge support designed to help make everyday life a little easier for individuals and families.
Transportation is more than getting from Point A to Point B. It's access to healthcare, employment, food, education, and opportunity.
If transportation is a barrier for you or someone you know, know that resources exist right here in our community.
Because everyone deserves the opportunity to get where they need to go.❤️

Give back to one of our amazing Partner Agencies!🫶🏼
One of the questions we hear most often is:
“What does The Willow Path need most?”
The honest answer is simple: the everyday essentials that keep our shelters running.
In an average week, we typically go through:
• 100 laundry pods
• 40 rolls of toilet paper
• 20 rolls of paper towels
• 60 garbage bags
• 4 cases of bottled water
That equals more than $500 every single month in basic necessities alone.
While these items may seem small, they are essential to providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for survivors and families rebuilding their lives after abuse.
Would your business, church, office, civic group, team, or family be willing to adopt one of these needs monthly?
A monthly donation of laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, or bottled water may not seem like much — but to us, it makes an incredible impact.
If you would like to help support these ongoing shelter needs, you can:
Contact us through messenger or by phone 256-775-2600

In every corner of the world, someone is showing up for their community.💙
Offering support.
Creating opportunity.
Reminding someone they are not alone.
That kind of hope ripples outward.
It strengthens communities, connects neighbors, and inspires others to do the same.
That’s the kind of good we believe in.
The kind that multiplies.
