J. E. Harrison Middle School 8th grade students recently enjoyed an exciting educational trip to Washington, D.C., where students experienced hands-on learning opportunities focused on history, government, leadership, and culture while creating lasting memories with classmates and staff.
During the visit to Arlington National Cemetery, four HMS students participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier as part of the groupโs scheduled tour experience.
The experience provided students with an opportunity to reflect on and honor the service and sacrifice of the individuals who gave their lives in service to our country.
We are proud of our Highlanders as they explore, learn, reflect, and represent Baldwin-Whitehall with respect and pride.
