✏️STAAR Results Release Dates:🗓️

NEISD students in grades 3-8 who took the STAAR assessments in spring 2026 will have access to STAAR results on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Parents may access STAAR 3-8 results through NEISD’s Skyward Family Access by clicking on the “Texas Assessments” tab. This tab will take parents directly to their student(s) results.
STAAR results will be available for reading language arts (RLA), mathematics, science (gr. 5 & 8), and social studies (gr. 8).

If parents cannot access results through Skyward’s “Texas Assessments” tab, please visit TexasAssessment.gov. Parents will need students’ first name, PEIMS number (Social Security Number or State ID), OR TSDS number and Date of Birth to access student scores.

🎓Senior Walk 2026🎓

We would like to send a HUGE shout out to all the graduating seniors! We are so proud of you and wish you all the best in your future adventures!

🏈Mrs. Chappell and Mrs. Dawson were out supporting our 5th grade Falcons at their flag football game Friday night after a fun day at the 5th grade pool party. 🏈

🎓💦Our Principal and Assistant Principal for the Day had quite a lot to do today with Senior Walk and the 5th Grade Pool Party! They shined in their roles and had a lot of fun being in charge! 🤩 🥰

Our 2nd graders have been hard at work collecting recycled materials and working in teams to create hamster obstacle courses! Today was the big day- they tested each course and had so much fun watching King Oreo explore their creations! ♻️🐭

🪘A huge thank you to Audrey Stephens with Blue Elephant Vibes for leading such an incredible sound bath 🛀 in session for our staff! It was calming, restorative, and exactly what we all needed. We are so grateful for the time, care, and peaceful energy you shared with us. Our staff left feeling refreshed, grounded, and truly appreciated. Thank you for pouring into our team in such a meaningful way!

During a Special Board Meeting on Monday, May 18, the North East ISD Board of Trustees named Interim Superintendent Anthony Jarrett as the Lone Finalist for Superintendent.

“He has maintained a strong commitment to student success, academic excellence and community partnerships,” said Board President David Beyer. “We are confident that his leadership, experience, and vision will help guide our District forward, toward continued growth and opportunity for all staff students and families.”

Jarrett brings more than 25 years of experience in public education including six years with NEISD. He previously served as the District’s Chief Instructional Officer before being named Interim Superintendent in December of last year. Prior to joining North East ISD in 2019, Jarrett served as a teacher, principal and assistant superintendent in Northside ISD.

Following the announcement, Jarrett shared his gratitude to the board and enthusiasm for this next chapter.

“Sitting in this role is a humbling experience,” said Jarrett. “The mindset of service first and self second is something that I fundamentally believe in. I think working alongside you guys, I know our District will continue to grow, get better and be one of the best districts in the country.”

Per state mandate, NEISD trustees must wait at least 21 days before officially voting to appoint Jarrett as our District’s newest Superintendent.

Fun in the Forest 2026 will go down in history as another memorable event at Hidden Forest. The HF PTA truly knows how to make a splash!
