We have a great relationship with Iredell County Emergency Medical Service and it makes working together much easier. One week for EMS appreciation seems like you got robbed. Thank you again from the entire staff at Cool Springs!

Yes the burn ban has been lifted but don’t get confused on what you can burn. Only natural vegetation can be burned, leaves, branches small brush piles, etc. If it could not grow on your property you CANNOT burn it. If you are burning within 100’ of your residence this falls under the jurisdiction of the fire marshal, outside the 100’ it falls under NC Forestry Service. So if you are burning any kind of processed wood, lumber, plywood, 2x4, even rough cut lumber this falls under Iredell County Solid Waste and the fine is hefty, up to $25,000. So if you have a burn permit this is not a free pass, you must still burn within the laws and you could still be liable if your fire causes damage to property. You can obtain a burn permit on our website, www.coolspringsvfd.org, or if you have any questions you can all our station, (704) 872-3221.

Yes that is rain.
And No you still cannot burn anything.
Is this statement correct Danny Brasington?
And we are still on water restrictions.
Nothing has changed.
