Cool Springs Fire Department provides fire protection and medical assistance to our community through the combination of volunteer and part time paid staff.

Cool Springs has been providing excellent service to its community for over 60 years. We are a combination department that provides fire protection and emergency medical first responder service to our service district. Our services are supplemented by Iredell County EMS, Iredell County Rescue Squad and our mutual and automatic aid fire departments.

This past Saturday around 8:30 pm our crew noticed a flat tire on our Squad truck. We just backed it in the station and it was fine. On a late Saturday night what are we going to do now? We called our friend Billy and he said he would meet us at the shop in 20 minutes. Again Bill Martin Inc came through for us in a pinch. It’s great to still have local businesses in our district, owned by residents in our district when we really need one they are there for us. Thank you again Billy!

We would like to thank our Brothers and Sisters on the BooBoo buses that stay extremely busy everyday. We have a great relationship with Iredell County Emergency Medical Service and it makes working together much easier. One week for EMS appreciation seems like you got robbed. Thank you again from the entire staff at Cool Springs!
