Happy June Dairy Month!
This June, we are raising a glass to our incredible local dairy farmers. Did you know that Iredell County ranks #1 for dairy production in the state of North Carolina?

Our local dairy industry is powered by 15 dedicated dairy farmers caring for approximately 11,000 milking cows. These hard-working cows produce an average of 9 gallons of milk per day, contributing to a massive total of 34,028,902 gallons of milk produced in 2025!

Milk. It does a body good!
Beyond being delicious, milk provides 13 essential nutrients that fuel our bodies, including: Phosphorus, Vitamin B12, and Potassium, Riboflavin, Vitamin A, and Vitamin D, Calcium, Protein, and Pantothenic Acid, Zinc, Selenium, Iodine, and Niacin.

Thank a Farmer Today!
Our dairy farmers work tirelessly 24/7, 365 days a year to bring the most wholesome products to our tables. This month, please take the time to thank a local dairy farmer for everything they do so we can enjoy our favorite cheeses, ice creams, and fresh milk.

Local Dairy Products are sold at local Ingles and Food Lion Stores.
