At camp, kids are building skills every day — without even realizing it:

🤝 teamwork
🧠 problem-solving
💪 confidence
💬 communication
🌱 independence

Through fun activities, group challenges, and everyday experiences, they’re learning how to work together, think creatively, try new things, and grow more confident in themselves.

And the best part? They’re having a great time while it’s happening.

Spots are still available for our upcoming camp sessions — don’t miss the chance for your child to grow, connect, and make lasting memories this summer.

Thank you to everyone who encourages, supports, volunteers, partners with, and believes in the work we do every day. 💙

Small moments of support can make a big difference in a child’s life.

What was your favorite summer activity as a kid? ☀️

A reminder for parents:

Kids don’t always say:
“I’m struggling.”

Sometimes it looks like:

irritability
withdrawal
trouble sleeping
difficulty focusing
emotional outbursts
avoiding activities they used to enjoy

Support matters, and families don’t have to navigate these challenges alone.

Early support matters. Prevention and mental health access can make a lifelong difference for children and families in our community. 💚

Mental Health Action Day is Almost Here!

Mental Health America has scheduled the 2026 Mental Health Month “Mental Health Day of Action” on Capitol Hill for this upcoming Friday, May 15, 2026 to urge Congress to fund mental health prevention and early intervention and co-sponsor the EARLY Minds Act (H.R.1735 / S.779), bipartisan legislation authorizing state flexibility to use up to 5% of existing Mental Health Block Grant funding for prevention and early intervention.

Wayne Township mental health activists unable to be on the Hill can still support the effort by visiting the day of action site where more information can be found, along with social media resources and a link to tell their Senator’s and Representative to co-sponsor and pass the EARLY Minds Act: https://mhanational.org/mental-health-day-of-action-2026/
