A special evening celebrating an extraordinary Jamaican. 🇯🇲

Congratulations to the Honourable Kenneth S. “Kenny” Benjamin, OJ, CD, JP, founder and executive chairman of the Guardsman Group, on becoming the 32nd member of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) Hall of Fame on October 29.

With just one person inducted each year, this honour is a meaningful recognition of his leadership and contribution to Jamaica.

The prime minister, leader of the opposition, government ministers, Guardsman team members, and representatives from across the public and private sectors came together to celebrate Kenny and this milestone.

We were proud to be represented by our Executive Director, Joy Roberts, whose longtime friendship with Kenny made the occasion especially meaningful.

Bridging Tourism, Culture, and Cinema in Jamaica 🇯🇲 ⭐️

We were delighted to welcome Hollywood actor Ricco Ross (Beauty in Black) and his wife, actress and writer Dr. Julie Ross, during their recent first visit to Jamaica!

As part of their stay for the Negril Universal Film Festival, the couple explored iconic cultural landmarks, including the Bob Marley Museum, and enjoyed a special lunch hosted by JAMVAC Executive Director Joy Roberts at Devon House.

Beyond experiencing our island’s rich heritage and world-class hospitality alongside Joy Roberts and our team, this visit opened meaningful discussions regarding strategic collaborations between Jamaica’s tourism sector and the international film industry-paving the way for future film projects with WES Film Studios, producer Mark Spark Welch, and Princess Senses The Mangrove resort.
