𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | Exploring Partnership for Volunteerism in the Science and Technology Sector

Officials from the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) and the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) held an exploratory meeting on 21 May 2026 to discuss potential areas for collaboration, particularly on leveraging volunteerism in research.

PNVSCA Executive Director Donald James D. Gawe and NRCP Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Geraldo S. Petilla exchanged insights on the interrelationship between volunteerism and research during their discussion. Dr. Petilla was joined by Ms. Jessica Jamimah M. Lopez, Project Technical Assistant IV; and Mr. Kerby P. Olis, Administrative Officer II.

The meaningful exchange of ideas on advancing volunteerism in research highlighted the strong potential of a partnership between the two agencies.
