USCGC Midgett, one of the U.S. Coast Guard's National Security Cutters, is deployed to the Indo-Pacific to strengthen partnerships with regional coast guards and navies. While in Singapore, the crew engaged in multilateral exercises and exchanges with regional maritime forces, demonstrating our shared commitment to maritime security, search and rescue, and humanitarian assistance.

U.S. Department of Commerce Acting Assistant Secretary for Industry and Analysis Bill Guidera and U.S. Department of State Senior Bureau Official for Cyberspace and Digital Policy Russ Headlee attended a roundtable with U.S. companies, hosted by the US-ASEAN Business Council.
The roundtable focused on how U.S. government can work with ASEAN countries to promote the American AI Exports Program, as well as how to reduce regulatory and compliance burdens for U.S. companies seeking to expand business opportunities in regional markets.
