A traffic accident has occurred along BKE near Exit 10A towards Woodlands Checkpoint. It is blocking two out of three lanes. Travellers planning to depart Singapore via Woodlands Checkpoint should expect delays. Motorists are advised to follow our page for updates.

𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬

On 09 May 2026, ICA Search and Examination officers and Singapore Police Force K9 unit officers conducted a joint enforcement operation at Woodlands Checkpoint and foiled an attempt to smuggle heat sticks (heat-not-burn to***co products) and a vaporiser into Singapore via a Singapore-registered rental car.

ICA officers directed the vehicle for enhanced checks and uncovered 11,000 heat sticks and a vaporiser concealed beneath the passenger seats and inside the centre console. Prior to the check, the driver had declared only a single packet of ci******es.
Heat sticks, vaporisers, and ni****ne pouches are banned in Singapore. The 37-year-old male Singaporean driver was arrested in connection with the case. The case has been referred to the Health Sciences Authority for further investigation.
