Always a pleasure to speak at Cornhusker Boys' State, where I get to meet some of Nebraska's most civically engaged students. This year I highlighted the importance of getting involved in elections and voting. I have no doubt these young men will go on to serve our state well.

Pleased to speak with a bright group of students visiting with the U.S. State Department Young South Asian Leaders Initiative in the Warner Chamber last week. They asked insightful questions about Nebraska and about the future of agriculture, trade and government in our state.

Honored to speak with a group of international security professionals visiting the Nebraska this week with the U.S. State Department International Visitor Leadership Program. We talked about the role Nebraska plays in security, including addressing food security through agricultural innovation.

Unofficial results will be updated every 5 minutes until all counties have finished reporting for the evening.

Polls will be closing in just one hour! Have you voted yet? Whether it's at your polling place or via drop box, don't miss your chance to make your voice heard.

Polls are open until 8 p.m. CT/7 p.m. MT.

Don't forget to return your early voting ballot to your county election office or a secure drop box by the close of polls today.

Remember, late ballots will not be accepted, even if they're postmarked on Election Day.
