Our volunteers had the opportunity to visit Maria’s Treasures, https://www.mariastreasures.org/, in Taftville, CT to donate some items. It is an amazing place, also run by a group of dedicated volunteers. Stop by if you get a chance.

Once again, we are very thankful to Maria’s Treasures of Taftville CT for their generous and recurring support of our Pantry! Their donations go a long way to enabling a dignified Client Choice shopping experience for our guests. When you’re in the Norwich area, visit Susan Noyes and her team. It will be worth the visit.

Maria's Treasures is a non-profit Thrift Store sustained by a community of volunteers and donors who provide quality used goods at affordable prices. All proceeds are used to address urgent needs of local individuals and families. See what treasures you'll find from their selection of furniture, household goods, clothing, collectibles, books, videos, records, and toys.

We’ve mentioned many times how our volunteers keep our Pantry running. We had an opportunity to celebrate two of our volunteers; Annie Allison for her excellent work managing our food inventory and ensuring we are distributing food at the appropriate times and Ahmed Mirghani for his very dedicated support and plan to move to Kansas to attend med school.

Congratulations and many thanks to both Annie and Ahmed!
