Philadelphia City Controller The Philadelphia City Controller promotes honest, efficient, effective, and fully accountable city government.

The City Controller is one of nine popularly elected offices in the executive branch of City of Philadelphia government. Independent of the Mayor and City Council, the City Controller conducts independent audits and analyses that provide objective information to city officials, the public, and other interested parties about the city’s financial affairs, and on ways to improve city operations and the use of public resources.

City Controller Christy Brady and her team were honored to join the 2026 Mayfair NPDC Moon Festival on October 4 along Frankford Avenue. The festival, which marks the end of the autumn harvest in Chinese culture, brought the community together through vibrant cultural performances, music, and celebration. Thank you to all of the organizers, performers, elected officials, and residents who helped make this event such a success.

On September 18, City Controller Christy Brady and Community Affairs Liaison Jill Henon attended and tabled at Senator Joe Picozzi's Screen & Swing Senior Expo at the Cannstatter Volksfest Verein. Seniors and community members had the opportunity to access health screenings, enjoy live entertainment, meet elected officials, and gather important information from government agencies and nonprofit organizations.
