📣 Heads up! The MLK Drive Weekend Closure for Recreation will be extended for this weekend's Juneteenth holiday. The road will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning Thursday, 6/18 at 7 pm. MLK Drive will be open for runners, pedestrians and cyclists all day this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It will reopen to vehicles at 7 am on Monday, 6/21.

We were proud to participate in the 22nd Philadelphia Ride of Silence, organized by . This event honors cyclists killed or injured in motor vehicle related accidents, and raises awareness about the rights of cyclists to ride the roads. Thirteen cyclists have been killed in the Delaware Valley in the last year - and we won't stop until that number is zero.

Head’s up! The next two weekends there will be changes to the MLK Drive seasonal closure schedule. This weekend, closures to vehicular traffic will be extended through the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Cyclists, runners and walkers will get an extra day to use the road.
The weekend after, MLK Drive will be closed to both vehicular traffic and recreational traffic for the Roots Picnic.
But don’t worry! Both weekends, everyone is welcome to use the trail path, which will remain open. Read more at the link in our bio.

On this gloomy day, we're thinking about how beautiful it was last week on Bike to Work and Wherever Day. Thank you to everyone who came out in support of safer, more connected streets! This was one of our largest celebrations yet, and we'll continue working to improve Philadlephia's bike network for everyone.

Hot off the press! The Infrastructure Solutions Team (IST) just released the City's Procurement Forecast, which helps businesses complete for contracts by sharing these opportunities in advance. This year's edition features 250 contracting opportunities across 12 departments and agencies, totaling $1 billion in anticipated investments acorss Philadelphia.
