- Pools are open six days a week
- There must be one adult per five kids for group admission
- Wear sunscreen and take breaks
- The first 50 pool users to ask staff for a towel will receive a free-City-branded beach towel
- Have fun!

The City’s Teen Apprenticeship Program gives Roanoke teens a space to make connections, build job skills and develop paths to positive, prosperous futures. It also shows families that the City is invested in youth development and success.

Teen Apprentice Sebastian lost a beloved uncle to gun violence 10 years ago, which left the entire family scarred by trauma. But the holistic Teen Apprentice Program is contributing to their healing and helps them feel valued. Hear from Sebastian’s mom Brandy about her son’s growth since beginning the enriching 16-week program that placed him in a summer job at the Belmont Branch Library.
