According to the America First Policy Institute, the new tax credit program could generate $810 million for Minnesota students over three years if Minnesota enrolled in the program and less than 15% of taxpayers used the tax credit.

In short, Democrats refusal to participate will deprive students of hundreds of millions.

Amy Klobuchar still will not say if she will opt Minnesota into a new program that could provide millions of dollars to Minnesota students.

Here’s a clear comparison of what Republicans and Democrats actually stand for. This election cycle, many Democrats are suddenly talking like conservatives on taxes and affordability—but don’t be fooled. The policies Democrats have enacted over the past two decades, and especially the last four years, have driven skyrocketing inflation, higher medical costs, and soaring building costs, all of which have pushed property taxes higher. Their extreme regulations and mandates have burdened schools and home builders, making everyday life unaffordable for young families and seniors on fixed incomes.

Democrats are claiming that they are the “affordability” party but after two decades of Democrat control in MN we now know that it is Democrat policies that have resulted in higher energy costs, higher healthcare costs, higher housing costs, higher prices for cars and license tabs, just to name a few.

Republicans have pushed for voter ID and other commonsense, widely bipartisan and publicly popular voter verification measures for a long time. The only reason Minnesota does not have these laws right now is that Democrats block them.

That needs to change!
