Today marks the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year and the official start of the summer season in the Northern Hemisphere. We hope you get outside to enjoy our gorgeous local parks, trails, and green spaces today. Let’s make it a safe, active, and impactful season together!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures who lead with dedication and heart across the Mohawk Valley!

Focus areas like our youth leadership programs and snack squads are all about helping you build bright, strong futures for the next generation.

The Mohawk Valley is beautifully diverse, and today we honor World Refugee Day. We recognize and celebrate the incredible strength, resilience, and rich cultural heritages of our global neighbors who have rebuilt their lives right here in our community. Our region is vibrant, strong, and whole because you are here.

Today, we observe and celebrate Juneteenth, honoring freedom, resilience, and the enduring journey toward true equality.

Just 48 hours until our community springs into action! Teams are prepped, t-shirt fundraisers are finalized, and the cleanup supplies are packed. We can't wait to see all of our corporate partners and individual volunteers out in the field this Wednesday morning. Remember, after the hard work is done, we are celebrating YOU with a volunteer thank-you lunch at our updated location: the Cedar Pavilion at Sherrillbrook Park! See you all on Wednesday!
