Dear Provider,

The rise in two-income and single-parent families has created great demand for quality child care—and nutritious meals are an essential element in a quality child care facility! As a caregiver, you have a tremendous influence in determining the future health and well-being of the children in your care. The nutritious meals you serve provide the “building blocks” necessary to sustain a child’s physical and cognitive development. You, in partnership with parents and the Ventura Child Care Food Program, can build a solid “foundation for the future” for our children, as they mature from childhood to adulthood, and someday, to parenthood. Ventura Child Care Food Program (VCCFP), partnered with the USDA, is here to provide you with child nutrition education and financial assistance. Together, we will create a well-rounded nutrition program for your child care business!

Your individual Child Enrollment Reports are due in our office one week from today - Monday, August 24th.
Any pending child must have a Child Enrollment Report submitted to be paid on your August claim.

ps Don’t forget all Child Enrollment Reports must be signed by you & the parent/guardian and dated 8-1-2026 for the new school year.

✔️Instructions for Annual Enrollments have gone out in the mail! 📬We'll be doing it the same as last year (individual enrollment reports for each child) and early to include the start of the new school year. Please make sure to read the instructions carefully before you begin on Monday 8/10. Example Child Enrollment Reports have been provided with the instructions.
🛑DO NOT PRINT ANY ENROLLMENT UPDATES UNTIL: Monday, August 10th and after.
✔️Child Enrollment Reports will be due in our office no later than Monday, August 24th! Please mail them in sooner rather than later and don't hold them all back for one parent signature.
✔️If you do not receive your packet by Wednesday (Aug. 12th) please call the office or your monitor.
