Did You Know?

A fi***rm holder who receives a Revocation Notice from the Fi***rm Licensing Authority (FLA) must surrender their licence(s), fi***rm(s), and am******on to the Authority no later than three days after the date of service of the notice.

Failure to comply is an offence under the Fi***rms (Prohibition, Restriction and Regulation) Act, 2022.

Licensed fi***rm holders have a responsibility to ensure that their fi***rms and am******on are securely stored and kept out of the reach of unauthorised persons.

Failure to do so is an offence and may result in a fine of up to $5 million or imprisonment for up to five years.

A Fi***rm User’s (Secondary) Certificate authorises a person, with the written permission of a Fi***rm User’s Licence holder, to possess and use the fi***rm or am******on specified in the certificate for non-business purposes.

Fi***rm User’s Permit authorises an individual between the ages of 12 and 20 years to possess and use a sh***un, air gun, or am******on, with the permission of the principal holder of a Fi***rm User’s Licence for that sh***un, air r***e, or am******on.
