🌈 Little Hands, Big Discoveries! | PE Time in Our Nursery Class ✨
At ATOA, even a simple playtime can become a wonderful opportunity for our little learners to discover, explore, and grow!
Our nursery learners enjoyed a fun-filled PE session that combined movement, play, and hands-on learning. Each activity was thoughtfully designed to help develop important skills while allowing children to enjoy the magic of being little learners. 🥰
Here's a peek at what our little ones did:
🧸 Free Play & Independent Exploration
We began with free play, giving our children the opportunity to choose their toys, explore their surroundings, and enjoy playing independently. These little moments help build confidence, decision-making skills, creativity, and independence!
🙏 A Little Prayer Before We Begin
Before starting our activities, our little learners gathered for a short prayer, helping them develop a sense of gratitude and introducing them to the value of beginning their day with a grateful heart.
🔢 Count, Match & Play!
Our little learners were challenged to look at the number on each ring and place the correct number of toys inside. A ring with the number 2? That's right, two toys!
Through this fun activity, children practiced number recognition, counting, one-to-one correspondence, and following simple instructions. And the best part? They were learning while having fun!
✍️ Little Fingers, Big Progress!
Using dotted markers, our learners painted numbers 1 and 2. This activity helps strengthen their little fingers, develop hand-eye coordination, and prepare their hands for future writing tasks.
🔺 Shape It, Match It, Paste It!
Our little learners also explored different shapes by identifying them and pasting objects where they belong. Aside from learning to recognize shapes, they practiced using glue, improving their hand strength, coordination, and ability to complete simple tasks.
Every little dot, every toy counted, and every shape pasted is a step toward building important skills!
