Another remarkable achievement for our Debating Team!

For the second consecutive year, our school participated in the Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championships, and we are proud to share that we successfully maintained our position as Quarterfinalists!

On top of that, the team achieved an impressive Overall 4th Position in the Preliminary League Table amongst all participating schools. Our debaters also shone individually, with all our main speakers ranked amongst the Top 20 Speakers in the championship:

🏅 Hannah (3-5) – 14th Position
🏅 Aaradhya (4E6) – 16th Position
✨ Awarded Best Speaker against the International French School of Singapore
🏅 Marissa (4E5) – 17th Position
✨ Awarded Best Speaker against Evergreen Secondary School

Behind every successful debate round is also a dedicated team working tirelessly behind the scenes. Our reserve speakers and sparring team played an equally important role in preparing motions, sharpening arguments, and supporting the team throughout the competition season. Their effort, commitment, and teamwork were crucial to our success.

This achievement reflects months of resilience, critical thinking, teamwork, and passion for debating.

Congratulations to the entire team! 👏

An unforgettable evening of music, movement and storytelling ✨🎭

“Jubilation: Time to Dream” brought audiences on a heartfelt journey of courage, self-discovery and the importance of charting our own paths and pursuing our dreams. Through a powerful drama and musical performance, our students reminded us that every dream begins with believing in ourselves.

The concert showcased the incredible talents of our Drama and Dance groups as well as the Concert Band, Choir and Chinese Orchestra, making the evening a truly vibrant celebration of the arts. 🎶💃🎻

A big thank you to our E6 Cluster Superintendent, Ms Lo Yen Nie for gracing the event as well as all guests and our school leaders for their unwavering support.

A heartfelt thanks also goes out to all conductors, instructors, teachers-in-charge, performers and crew members who made this production such a memorable success! Well done!🌟

🏆✨ P.R.I.Z.E. – Celebrating Values, Honouring Excellence ✨🏆

Our Awards Ceremony was a meaningful celebration of the achievements, character, and growth of our Pasirians over the past year. 🌟

Anchored in this year’s theme, P.R.I.Z.E., we recognise students who have embraced pride and responsibility, acted with integrity, pursued their goals with zeal, and shown empathy in their daily actions. From consistent effort in the classroom to dedication in their CCAs, our awardees are a powerful reminder that small, positive habits can create a lasting impact.

In an inspiring address, our Principal, Mr Ivan Wu, reminded us of the importance of friendship—the support we give, the encouragement we offer, and the connections that shape our journey through school and beyond. 🤝

We were also honoured to hear from our Guest-of-Honour, Ms Nusaibah Abdul Rahim, who shared heartfelt reflections of her time in PRSS. Her story was a meaningful reminder that we should always remember the people, the moments and the version of yourself that started in PRSS. She also reminded us to be brave, be kind and not to give up easily. 🌱

As we celebrate our students’ accomplishments, we also celebrate the spirit of our school community—one that grows stronger through shared values, everyday actions, and a commitment to becoming better versions of ourselves.

Here’s to continuing the journey with purpose, pride, and heart. 💫

📚✨ Turning Pages, Finding Voices ✨📚

Our English & Literature Festival was more than just a week of activities—it was a celebration of ideas, expression, and discovery. 💬📖

From engaging Book Talks by our Reading Ambassadors to the vibrant creativity of Book Character Day, students brought stories to life and shared their love for reading with confidence and enthusiasm. The excitement continued with lively inter-class debates, enriching writer’s workshops, and a dynamic Straits Times Current Affairs Quiz, where students sharpened their awareness of the world and learned more about real-world issues.

A special highlight was the Meeting of Minds session, where our graduating students engaged in meaningful conversations with their EL teachers—exchanging ideas, reflecting deeply, and growing as thoughtful communicators.

Across every activity, students stepped forward to speak, present, and connect—building not just a passion for reading, but also a confident and vibrant public speaking culture. 🎤✨

Here’s to empowering students to think deeply, speak confidently, and engage meaningfully with the world around them. 💡📚
