On 15 June Azerbaijan marks National Salvation Day - a turning point that marked the country’s return to peace, stability and development. The return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to political leadership in 1993 played a decisive role in safeguarding Azerbaijan’s independence and laying the foundations for its modern progress. Today this date remains a symbol of unity and Azerbaijan's statehood.

Today, on the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader and architect of modern Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, the people of Azerbaijan honor his memory with profound respect. We pay tribute to his outstanding achievements, which laid the foundation for a strong and independent Azerbaijan. His legacy remains a source of pride and inspiration for generations to come.

Azərbaycan xalqı İkinci Dünya müharibəsində böyük fədakarlıq göstərmiş, ön və arxa cəbhədə faşizm üzərində qələbəyə mühüm töhfə vermişdir.

Bu gün Azərbaycanın Milli Qəhrəmanı, Birinci Qarabağ müharibəsinin şəhidi əslən dağ yəhudisi Albert Aqarunovun Şuşa şəhərində qəhrəmancasına həlak olmasından 34 il ötür. Albertin xatirəsini dərin hörmətlə yad edir, onun ruhunun şad olmasını diləyirik.

Today marks the 34th anniversary of the heroic death in the city of Shusha of Azerbaijan’s National Hero, martyr of the First Karabakh War, mountain Jew by origin, Albert Agarunov. We commemorate Albert’s memory with deep respect and pray for the peace of his soul.

We commemorated the 103rd anniversary of the National Leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, and paid tribute to his outstanding legacy across all spheres, particularly his visionary initiatives in architecture and construction, which today stand among the major landmarks of our country.
