✨ How do we lead responsibly in a rapidly changing world, while shaping a future that is inclusive and sustainable for generations to come?
On 9 May, our youth leaders explored this through ‘Futures Thinking for the Community’ by Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Through the Futures Triangle framework, our youth leaders examined emerging trends, reflected on present challenges, and reimagined possibilities for the future — learning how communities can respond meaningfully to change.
💬 The learning continued in a dialogue with MOS Goh Pei Ming, where our youth leaders reflected on future-ready leadership, staying grounded in their purpose through challenges and moments of growth, and the importance of collaboration with like-minded individuals in turning ideas into meaningful ground-up action.
By connecting futures thinking with community leadership, our youth leaders were encouraged to shape not just the present, but the future of communities around them. 🙌
What does future-ready leadership look like to you? 👇

This Mother’s Day, we invited four mothers from NACLI to share their reflections on the joys, challenges, and experiences of motherhood. Their stories offer a glimpse into the strength and love that shape every mother’s journey. 💬
As one timeless saying goes: “Mothers hold their children’s hands for a while, but their hearts forever.” 💖
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers who nurture, guide, and love with unwavering devotion! 🌷

✨ In a world shaped by AI and constant connectivity, how do we lead with purpose — and tell stories that matter?
As part of the YLC Equip Masterclasses, our youth leaders explored both.
We began with ‘Active Citizenry in the Age of Generative AI’ by Professor Dan Schnur from , unpacking how civic participation is evolving and what it takes to lead responsibly in a digital world.
💬 Expanding on this foundation of active citizenry, ‘Building Your Public Narratives’ by ’s Associate Professor Chng Huang Hoon and Dr Toh Tai Chong helped participants craft their Story of Self, Us, and Now — turning values into stories that inspire action.
🚣♂️ In the afternoon, these lessons came to life at PassionWave @ Marina Bay where participants applied what they learnt through a dragonboat session — strengthening teamwork, trust, and resilience with every stroke.
From reflection to action, our youth leaders gained tools to lead with intention and communicate with purpose.
How can we tell stories that mobilise change? 👇
When it mattered most, our community stepped up for our hawkers. ❤️
From swift ground support to grassroots leaders and volunteers showing up in full force, this is what years of trust and strong relationships look like in action. 💪
This is the kampung spirit we hold dear. 🥰
