Proud to mark International Day of UN Peacekeepers
🇬🇧 and 🇪🇹 personnel have served together under the UN flag as far back as the Korean War & more recently in 🇸🇸 — working together to protect civilians & uphold peace in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
The United Kingdom and Ethiopia have worked in partnership for many years to strengthen emergency preparedness and humanitarian response across the country.
We are proud to support the Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) with a range of operational equipment, in support of their vital work.
These assets will help deliver humanitarian assistance, improve water supply, provide essential medical commodities, and enhance disaster response efforts.
